More on Frey (Freyr):
The powerful Norse god often known for his power over fertility and the control of the weather. There are ancient accounts that he was called upon during marriages and agricultural strife. A member of the Vanir, he is the son of Njörðr and twin brother to Freyja.
In both the Poetic and Prose Edda, Frey is depicted falling in love with his wife, the jötunn Gerðr, after seeing her beauty from a distance. He sends his servant to win her heart for him, but after several refusals, he ends up giving his sword in order to wed her.
Despite lacking a magical sword, Frey possesses the ship Skíðblaðnir, which is named as the greatest of all ships. It always catches favorable wind and can be folded up, small enough to be stored in a pocket. Frey also owns Gullinbursti, a bristling boar that can travel across the sky and land.
An adjustable leather cord will be provided with every necklace.
