Oak Handles inspired by and based on historical finds from Hedeby perfect for crafting your own historical bag for your next Viking market or adventure!

Bag handles measured at widest 1.5" tall and 12" wide // 3.8 cm tall and 30.5 cm wide.

Fits a leather round cord /lucet cord / up to 8mm or a thin silk or wool tablet woven band.

Bags are best made our of wool or leather and a linen lining can be added.

These handles are based on Historical finds from Hedeby Germany, and were used to make bags. One very similar Sami bag from northern norway still remains intact giving us clues to the construction of these bags.
