This color Bead is very common during the iron age to late viking age and has been found in several other locations outside of Scandinavia due to the norse people traveling so much, it has been recently discovered that most blue glass beads like this were originally crafted in the same glass work shop in Egypt that created blue glass pieces for king Tutankhamun
