Hedeby bag in Orange/Black 2/2 twill with linen lining.

Bag measured at widest point including handles 15" tall and 12.5" wide // 38 cm tall and 31.75 cm wide.

It also comes with a round leather shoulder strap measuring 55" // 139cm.

The wood handle is 12 inches wide and made from solid Walnut and heavily treated with with mineral oil.

This bag is is made from 100% wool and linen fabric, finished by hand as you can see from the small stitches around the edge. the lighter colored linen makes it easier to find what you're looking for in you bag.

These handles are based on Historical finds from Hedeby Germany, and were used for bags with currently 14 variations being found in hedeby. One very similar Sami bag from northern norway still remains intact giving us clues to the construction of these bags.
