These unique viking hair/beard beads have been hand crafted using premium European leather and designed in house, every hair/beard bead is hand cut, tooled, dyed, sealed and sewn by hand.
Internal diameter of the beads average around 16-17mm diameter and are roughly 1 inch tall.
Featuring Mjolnir, Thors hammer.
In Norse mythology, Mjölnir is the hammer of the god Thor. Silver and bronze pendants of the hammer are some of the most commonly found jewelry artifacts of the Viking age.
Thor resonated (and was quite popular) with common people, so Mjölnir was a symbol many Norse people could connect with and utilize as a form of identity and allegiance. The word itself directly translates to “crusher” or something similar.
Mjölnir itself possessed powerful magical properties, imbued during its creation. According to Snorri’s Prose Edda, when thrown by Thor, it never missed its target, and it always came back to him. It can also be shrunken small so it can be worn in a pocket of Thor’s, or perhaps as an amulet by the god.
The hammer’s defining characteristic is its unintentionally short handle/shaft, a result of Loki terrorizing the blacksmithing dwarves Eitri and Brokkr while they forged it.

Amazing detail and beautiful. My husband is going to love these.
Excellent workmanship. Arrived before expected.
Perfect size and very durable
This is the second one I've bought for my husband. It is made very well and it lasts a long time. The only reason we had to get another one was due to the first getting lost.
Purchased as a gift for my husband he loves them! Great quality and fast shipping!
They got wet and the image came off. So it must have been some sort of water soluble ink.
Solid little leather bead, the design is clearly placed and looks great, like it’s antiqued and you can see the workmanship- these aren’t mass produced and that makes them so special! I love tucking one in a loose braid of my naturally curly hair, I’ve actually had people in the grocery store “spot it” and say how pretty it was! I didn’t even know hair beads could work outside of men’s beards (I’ve seen some bikers/Viking dudes rock them!) but they can be quite pretty and feminine when you put them in a ladies hairstyle as a little something too.. 🙂 and hubby can borrow it as well- definitely gender neutral!
