Every piece is individually hand carved from hollow bone which is then filled and sealed. These pieces will smell like bone and the paint, the smell will dissipate as time goes on.
Due to every piece being hand carved there will be variances in color shape and size.
Includes 1 large white pieces, 12 white game (medium) pieces and 24 (medium) ox blood Red game pieces (If you would like any spare pieces to be included in your set for an extra charge please let me know before purchasing.

Very nice Hnefatafl pieces! Combines great with this OlegWoodArt wooden board. As advertised, the pieces are not exactly the same sizes, some are taller than others, or fatter. This gives the impression of the pieces being individuals instead of indistinguishable generic pieces, which I like.
