In Fljótsdæla saga ( a region in Iceland ) from the late viking age , Sveinungr Demanded a young boy at his farm to head out and gather in the sheep. The boy insisted on bringing his hood and gloves before leaving, but Sveinungr shamed him into leaving immediately. Sveinungr wanted the boy to be spotted and mistaken for Gunnarr, a man who was being pursued and who had been taken into Sveinung's protection.

Gorgeous! Absolutely lovely! Thank you so very much. 🙂
I’m 6 feet tall and about 180 pounds, and the medium fits just right. The wool is beautiful, and the box had some cloves thrown in to make the package smell nice. I’m very happy with the quality of this hood.
Beautiful hood, fits great and is warm and comfortable. Arrived very quickly. Quick and excellent communication from the seller. Thank you!
Love the hood, its the perfect size! The diamond twill pattern is really cool.
It's amazing. I got the large size, and it's amazing. The wool is soft, thick, and not scratchy. And it's amazing. It does match the description, but the fabric itself is a bit more of a reddish brown than the photos, so if you're looking for burgundy or maroon, this isn't the right piece for you. But it's amazing. Get it.
Outstanding! I’m glad I got the medium size. I’m 5’11” with fairly broad shoulders, and the medium hood fits me comfortably baggy. The diamond pattern in the wool really sets this hood apart. The wool is less scratchy than many wool products; feels fine against the skin. With the hood down, it’s like wearing a cozy scarf. And shipping was super fast. Two thumbs up!
A great addition to my outfit for Renaissance. Great quality. The smell of it also gave me a feeling of a different century.
Love the color and quality. Fits as advertised. Keeps you warm on cold nights!
